Shifter can be moved while in gear.....
Ok. My car drives and shifts perfectly. This happens ONLY if I am to get on it. I dont have to bang through the gears, it could just be a slight roll in to like 5k or something. After a little run like that, I can move my shifter about a whole gear over. So if Im in 5th, I can pretty much pull it to the left to where it looks as if its in 3rd. Does not take much effort to do so either. Feels kinda spongy. Ok, now once Ive driven a few miles lightly, the shifter goes back to normal. No movement in gear. I am stumped on this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
