Thanks to the good hands of Rodger and his team at Horsepower Sales in Pompano Bch, FL. The car feels VERY strong! The intake in addition to my headers, and haltech stinger seemd to have increased the overall powerband of the car...the acceleration and launch is noticably increased as well as the deep breathing long romps on the freeway! (no speed limits broken, I promise)
I highly recommend the addition- and of course the great work by HorsePower Sales!
I am sure I can take some...only problem is- the LS6 intake looks just like the LS1! cept the runners are longer on the inside thus making the LS6 intake a flat bottom unit as opposed to the LS1 having a raised bottom....
I agree with you there, anyone looking for a great shop to work with here in Broward County or for that matter Dade and Palm Beach county, should seriously consider Roger and his guys at Horsepower Sales, in Pompano. They have done an excellent job with my car. Now that Roger is teamed with Mike Norris for tuning, I don't think you can beat the quality of service and not to mention good prices. Thanks Horsepower sales for doing a great job on my baby !!!!
I understand that all late model C5's have the LS6 intake and some may have a LS6 block. I would check and make sure before anyone else spends the extra bucks. The late model years are listed in this forum. My recollection is that 03 and 04 for sure have the intake. Possibly the 02's also.

I have a 97 LS1- so I did not have the intake already- I don't think it was a standard til 01 to be honest...there are clear numbers on the LS1 intake that differ then the LS6- a simple look will tell you what you have.
For the price and install- it was a great addition for my LS1.
No- unfortunately I did not have it dyno'd prior to the install...buy it did run a 13.3 1/4 mile at 107MPH bone Stock. So I guess I will have to use the track as a judgment of these mods as well...
I can say that it woke this bad boy up though...no questions what so ever....the SOTP factor is alive and well!
