It would probably be cheaper to buy a C6.

I was not aware that C6's had paddle shifters... I thought the shift linkage came up to a shifter forward of the consol like the C5

I understand the paddle shifter is a mid year change.

The paddle shifter incorporates a whole new transmission. It's a six speed automatic. Good article in the latest Corvette Quarterly about it.

It NEEDS an SMG tranny to go along with the paddles.
