I was looking into a header, x-pipe & exhaust package for my newly acquired Vette. I was searching around combing some online stores and found this site www.dezod.com who is selling a nice package for a good price. I have seen this package go for $1600+ on other websites. They are selling it for $1495.00 it includes long tube headers, high flow cats and a front x-pipe.
Anyone have this? From what I have gathered this gives pretty solid gains and very nice sound to the car.
They also have this same package in a LOVELY full 3" set-up.
Someone else on another thread said this was good. Anyone else?
You should check out the Dynatech SuperMaxx system (LTs, HF Cats, X-pipe). Fits like a glove and they sound great with my Corsa Indy's.
Got mine from Nate at CorvetteGarage for $1199.

I just installed a set of Dynatech Supermaxx. I love them. I have them connected to a set of B&B "Route 66" Exhaust.

And I would like to know who the MFG is? They look JetHot coated?
Exerp taken from Dezod's site:
C-5 Headers
Constructed by hand utilizing CNC cut exact-fit flanges, 1-3/4" tubes. And 3" collectors. Named " smooth Flow" as result of their construction having no sharp bends and very few welds. These headers are manufactured by the same folks that worked with GM to produce and supply the headers for the LS-1 engines in ASA racing series. Threaded oxygen sensor bungs come installed. Call for pricing on our race headers without the emission tubes installed. These hand welded headers are bent as opposed to being welded piece by piece, as result of this you will find better exhaust efficiency over other systems. The 3/8" flanges are CNC cut - the tubes are 1 3/4" aluminized steel.
Smooth Flow System:
This system replaces factory exhaust back to the rear muffler section. We can supply dyno readings from one of our customers that showed a 38 horsepower increase using our Smooth Flow headers, Random Tech hi flow cats, Blackwing air box and our Hi Performance plug wires. All the dyno tests were done independently of our operation and showed a similar boost in torque also.
Jet Hot ceramic coated smooth flow headers
Random Technologies Hi-Flo cats and X-pipe
Stainless steel band clamps
Yes they are Jet Coated. I called there today, they said the exhaust on this is 2.75" and that you could upgrade to a 3" if you want for just $100
I got a set of Jet-Hot headers from them for $622 shipped and a full 3" ss system with RT hi-flo cat and X pipe-everything back to the rear flanges from Corvette garage shipped for $568. A total of $1190.

Your right, these headers are not that expensive. This system could be put together for a considerably less than 1495.
I pieced together an identical system all the way back to the tips for less than that.
I used jet hot headers, magnaflow high flow cats, magnaflow magnapack cat back with x pipe for less than 1300.
Not to be a killjoy but...... Before you rush out to buy a mild steel Melrose header, you may want to do a little more homework and look into the stainless header systems that are out there. LG's, KOOKS, Supermaxx are all very good products and priced reasonably well. Bob
