Don't do it. Just move away from the keyboard slowly and try to forget you ever even looked at these POS's.
Try it and report back to us.....

NOW I've seen everything.
Anyone putting one of these things on a Vette should be hunted down and then forced to drive a Hyundai for the rest of their life.

Yeah, but they gain 20HP when used along with Hood Seal and the TB Bypass Mods.

Devices like the "tornado" have been around since the 70s. Even back then they made little difference with the carbureted engines, but at least there was some technical rationale behind it (swirling the fuel/air mixture to get as much fuel droplets as possible to vaporize before entering the combustion chamber).
BUT, since 1985 all Vettes have been port fuel injected (a.k.a. a dry injection system). The throttle body and intake manifold of these systems has no fuel mixture at all, just air. The fuel is injected into the airstream immediately before getting to the intake valve.
Therefore, anything that modifies the air at the throttle body (like the Tornado) is just moving air around, and providing a restriction in the process. It can't improve anything in this kind of system, unless there's some more esoteric physics that I don't know of.
HTH, and have a good one,
Mike
BTW, another 'great idea' was the 'swirling' TB spacer (Vortex?) that was being touted last year, but it just changes the harmonics in the intake by increasing the length behind the throttle plate.

Was it: Hurry hurry hurry ...come see Stella the snake dancer. She wiggles, she walks, she shakes like a Model T on a frosty morning. All for the price of a dime, one tenth of a dollar that's right step right up.............show starts in 5 minutes.
Was that it?

DOnt waste a cent on a tornado, there has been testing done on all these in popular mechanics.Dave
You know the guy knows it is crap, and there he is hawking voodoo. What a friggin hump. I will not watch it anymore, once you start pumping crap like the Tornado you have no boundaries. I hope Tornado paid him BIG money for his integrity.
