Battery question: side terminals vs. top terminals

Default Battery question: side terminals vs. top terminals
If I replace the OEM battery in my 2000 Vert, that has the side mounted terminals, with a new battery that has top mounted terminals, will I need to modify the battery cables at all (i.e. change the connectors, get longer cables, etc)???

You can buy adapters that mate a top post battery to side mount cables. Or you can buy a battery that goes both ways.

Default Both ways..
If you get the Optima Red Top (I just bought one when my battery went dead), the connections are on, both, the side and top.
