Its definately a fuse, i had the same problem a couple months ago and searched for the fuse forever. Once i replaced the fuse both worked again, but sorry i cant remember which fuse it is. They do share a common fuse.

OK, for those of you that like to keep track of stuff like this here's the story :
the minuifuse is located in the passenger footwell compartment and is a 10 amp fuse labled number 2 on the fuse diagram and called "monitored ( inadvertent) load control".

ooh oooh i know the answer for this one...dang u beat me to it. after a couple years of ownership i finally found the fuse while repairing something else. hahahahaha yeah who knwos why that fuse does what it does...mine was blown too and now it works. funny thing i just did it a couple hours ago.
