dead battery
I have a 98 C5 10k miles RARELY used. the bettery was going dead after sitting a few weeks and after 6 years i figured ok new battery time...then after another 4-5 weeks its dead again- Brand new battery! i did hear theses cars computers do take a little drain ---there is NOTHING aftermarket on the car --radios and such-- its bone stock. could it just be after 5-6 weeks the battery just drains??? if i start it once ever 1-2-3 weeks its fine....thanks for your input.......RL

You need a battery tender, any battery will drain after 6 weeks.
You can pick up a good Deltran tender for around 20 bucks

He is not running the car, the battery will drain in a month or so.
He needs a tender. IMHO
