Need help finding "knocking" noise in suspension
I personally have replaced the rotors(Napa), pads(ceramic), and front calipers(Z06). I also had the dealer install Z06 wheels. I give all this info because I'm a newbie in the suspension area and I don't know what info is needed to find a knocking in I believe the front passenger side. It sounds like a bolt in the tire, but there isn't one and the noise isn't constant. Only starts after driving a couple of miles, bumps in the road make it stop for 2-3 seconds. I notice it at slow speeds(10-20 mph), but not on the freeway. I hit a nasty pothole on that side of the car about 2 weeks ago, but didn't hear this noise until 2 days ago. I'm pretty sure it has the original shocks on it and they show no signs of leaking. I have the wheels off, but nothing appears broken or loose and the right/ left sides look the same to me. Bushings have no cracks, look good from what I can see w/o removing them. Any help is appeciated, I don't want to give the car back to the dealer for 2-3 days if I don't have to.
