Ok I think I have decided to put the x pipe on the coupe,,, my question is Which brand you have and where did you get it,, and if you dont mind me asking how much was it,, Thanks you guys are great..

Borla and Corsa make good X-pipe for about $250. Magnaflow and Bassani have a different style X-pipe, and cost a bit more. I dont think it makes a difference which brand. I had Borla on my Stingers, now have Dynatech headers.

look on PFYC vendor site or LAPD, both are supporting vendors and their link is on the left of the screen.

I also have the magnaflow and am happy with it. It is a good idea to replace the stock h-pipe with an x-pipe because the hole on the stock pipe is actually about the size of a quarter even though the cross pipe looks to be full 2 and 3/4 inch pipe. Furthermore, X-pipes do a lot more for performance than h-pipes do anyway.

go with a magnaflow x-pipe piece and get it weled in.

buy it on ebay and have a local shop install it .. should cost you no more than $110 total

I just put on a magnaflow x-pipe.Bought it from East Coast Corvettes for $279, thats w/shipping.It's not as loud now ,but the car feels like its pulling a little harder from 50mph on up......Paul

Local muffler shop Magnaflow installed $210.00. Also had hi-flow Magnaflow cats put on..different price..around $800.00 installed.
