Just bought a C5 vert originally sold in Canada, any way I can get the twilight sentinel feature to turn off. I heard on the Canadian cars there's no way to turn it off. How about it?
I do not see what year is you car, but in case you have an early C5, removed the BCMI 3 minifuse # 22 from the IPEC (instrument panel electrical center) located at the right of the BCM. Parking lights are still controlled by sensor, but I need to turn the switch to have the head light to come up. This is what I did on my 97.
good luck.

If you have a '99 or newer, get to the fuse panel behind the footrest on the passenger side, pull the relay fuse #44, you may need some long nose pliers.
Everything will function normally but the headlights will not pop up automatically anymore.
