I was looking at some rotors on AutoZone's website, and the basic $25 rotors have a shipping weight of about 20 lb each. Then there are some name brand rotors that have a shipping weight of 12 lb, and really fancy drilled/slotted rotors listed at 10 lb. Is there really that much difference in weight, or do you think that the website just has wildly random numbers listed for the weight specs? I mean, a 10 pound difference? Some people obsess over 2 pounds of weight on a wheel/tire, but I've never heard anyone comment on the weight of a rotor. Any thoughts?

stock NAPA rotor is about 17 lb on bathroom scale. Doubt drilling a few holes takes out that much weight. Hype if you ask me call and ask them the weight then tell them put it in writing after they tell you.If they are 12 lb I'll need some also
