Kooks Paper Gaskets--good/bad?

just swapped out the gaskets, the two outer bolts would fight each other but after awhile i got them to go in smooth, the kooks supplied gaskets had cracked on the #8 cylinder

I also used new factory gaskets on my 1 3/4" Kooks. No leaks since February this year.
