Default Thoughts on output shafts

I am in the process of changing a bunch of things on my Z. It will be making quiet a bit more power (PTK turbo, heads, cam) and I am considering upgrading the output shafts.

The car will get raced at the track mostly on dr's. I may eventually put some slicks on it.

Should I upgrade the shafts or change anything else for track use? Where is the best place to purchase them?

Thanks

Especially if you are going to be seeing some hard launches and using slicks. Give DTE a call. They can fix you up with the best. HTH

BTW, I would also recommend DTE's transaxle brace so you won't be destroying your diff.

It's really not that much more to get the right side shaft too. Might as well have both and have the piece of mind knowing that you then have pretty much of a bullet-proof diff.
Also check out LG's aluminum driveshaft couplers too. They will strengthen that area too.

Give DTE a call. I just put both in my 99. Couldnt ask for better service or a better looking product. Went to the track for the second time with the car with alot better results !! IT DROVE HOME !!

They may be offering the DTE products in some of their packages. Good choice, since DTE make very good parts.
