WTB-2000 C5 Drivers Door Wiring Harness. Will a 1998 work?
Please help.
Im broke and so is my C5. Does anyone have a good used drivers door complete wiring harness for a 2000 C5? I can pay $30 shipped.
I can get one from a 98 but Im not sure it will work with the 2000. Does anyone know?

what is it doing i have fixed mine before and i might be able to help. I just need to know what is going on.

Yes! That is exactley what it is doing! It works for a while, and then the monitor system suddenly shows every warning message possible, and all the guages go dead. Also, the drivers door goes dead. I can wiggle the wire connector under the dash that goes to the door and it will aventualy work again. Ive tried jumping all the wires from the connector back by splicing them with no success. The problem is likely near the connector but I just cant find the darn thing! Its driving me nuts. Any info you can help me with would be very much appreciated.
Also, Im still trying to find out if any C5 door harness will work. Chevy has been useless in resolving this problem, and I was the one that narrowed it down to the door harness.

It depends on the options you have. The auto dimming mirror is one, do you have it?

It is the connector between the door and the body that has the issue.
When mine starts acting up I just push side in of the tube and everything works again.

Thanks to all that have replied, but Ive already jumped all the wires from the connector back and had no luck. I know it was in the door wiring harness because I used to be able to wiggle the wires to get it to work. Now the whole thing has gone dead.
