Painted Calipers: Pull brake lines or not to pull...
Ok, I am going to paint my calipers in the next few weeks and need some input. I am considering pulling the lines when I do because it seems to me that the job would be easier in a paint booth vs. on the car (less taping, no overspray worries, better coverage, and better end result). Also, my brake fluid really needs a change and I have purchased a Motive bleeder to help complete the job. The combination of the two makes pulling the lines seem like a good choice. Also, if I do, can I reuse the brake line bolts? What type of thread lock do I need to use? Opinions / suggestions?
