Default Z06 Brake Mods.

Is there any info about using Z06 front calipers on the rear along with correct size rotor. (Brackets to allow front to rear caliper change.)
This is in an effort to not waste good 4-piston calipers and only have to upgrade front brake assemblies to 6-piston units and larger diameter rotors.

It's been done. Check the Tech Tips section. I've been told that the front caliper and bracket will bolt right up and work with the front 13" rotor. However, in order to get the rotor on, you have to cut away some metal on the upright that mounts the parking brake shoes, ie., no more parking or emergency brake. I'd like to find a way to mount my front calipers on the 14" Baer Eradaspeeds in the rear. The Baer adapters move the rear caliper bracket out 1 inch to match the Eradaspeeds 1 inch larger radius. It seems to be a lot harder to move the caliper bracket out 1/2" as the bolts are 14mm (.553"). I'd love to hear about another GM caliper bracket that would bolt up and put the caliper in the proper position for a 14" rotor.

You will need a bigger master and brake bias adjustment valve.

the knuckles/uprights are interchangable RR to LF and LR to RF, there are only 2 part #'s for corners, that's all i have, not sure if you would gain anything other than a different look and some weight
