1416 is current - anyone have a manual handy??? Is it okay to drive?? I just replaced the ebcm 1 month ago- please let it be some cheapo sensor- mama needs a new pair of shoes!

Probably the check valve needs to be replaced. They rust, and the good news is, they are cheap.

The bad news is, it's hard to get to, -- the intake manifold needs to come off to replace it (it's at the rear of the manifold under the windshield wiper area). My post above has a link to a really good set of DIY for the oil pressure sensor, and the valve is right by it, so you can try it yourself. Dealers will charge 3-4 hours of labor.

A friend of mine has suggested shooting this aerosol stuff into the liine to "free up" the check valve- has anyone done that?

I've seen mine when it came out at 30,000 miles -- no way would any spray have "freed that up."

Going to get my oil sensor replaced this morning, and the check valve needs it as well.

I use Chevron gas, all their grades have Techron in it now. Never had the problem you speak of.
