Battery help
My battery was dead this morning. I drove the car on Sunday and all was well. I went to start it this morning and it just clicked. Charged the battery and it started, but I am sure the battery will fail me when I need it most. What battery should I replace the stock battery with? Car is an 04. Thanks for your help in advance. Yeah, being an '04 that should be a warranty coverage item. I had my first battery repalced under warranty after 2 yrs because of a small leak foudn during a routine check, lucky me. Just replaced the 2nd one today with an Optima Red Top 75/35. I think the old battery had one more start in her if that even, should have replaced it last week.

I didn't have good luck with Optima batteries, but mine were the yellow top ones. I guess it was probably the dealer in our area, but he wouldn't stand behind them. I had them in my racecar and would have to change it every 6 months, probably shook them to death. I finally changed over to 16 volt batteries and didn't have any problems after that. I am glad that the local dealer is going to replace it tomorrow.
