Why???
for brakes to work properly you have to remove the zinc or nickel coating from the braking surface where the brake pad grabs the rotor. If or when the coating is not removed the brakes dont work very well. i.e. dont stop your car.
It would be cheaper to puchase plated rotors in the first place, then do some very hard brakeing to remove the coating over the braking surface
