in short no, octane doesnt boost power, just allows you to make power

Waste of money unless you need it for a high compression engine. Prevents preignition in big motors .

You would actually lose power, as 110 octane would kill you O2 sensors.

I'm not sure they make a 110 unleaded race fuel. Highest I have seen is 104 unleaded. I do run 100 or 104 in my car, but it is tuned to take advantage of the higher octane. As mentioned above, if you run leaded fuel, you'll kill your O2 sensors pretty quickly. Race fuel is also notoriously dirty and I go through a fuel filter a year.

VP makes some oxygenated fuel that is usally worth about 2 tenths in the 1/4.They have it in leaded and unleaded. It is pricy and you don't want to use it if you use nitrous because it's easy to get too lean with it.They claim 6 percent more hp.I never used it in my race car because I was using big shots of nitrous.I've been running it in my dirt bike and it made it feel like a whole new bike.

You will be wise to listen to the advice not to use race fuel. I ruined a cat doing this. Did nothing for my ET.
