Superchips update

Superchips update
I purchased the 2725 superchips programmer and when I tried to install in my 99 C5 it said to call superchips for update. Well it is saturday and they are closed. I was wondering if anybody would know how or what they do to update it.

If the tuner was used before it would have displayed vin locked on the programmer. The display said Tuner requires update. I was wondering if anybody else had this experience.

One additional quick note. I noticed you live in FL. Superchips is located in Sanford (just north of Orlando off I-4), so if you are not to far, you can take it in to be updated. I used to live in Orlando, that is how I know.

My $.02 is have it dyno tuned for about the price you paid for the Supechip tuner. I have the Superchip 2150 for my '97 and can only use it on my car because it is VIN# programed. Whished I'd gone with and still may go with the dyno tunner.

For your consideration:
I had a Superchips handheld custom "mail order" tune done and uploaded. I then paid a lot of $$$ for a dyno tune by a local "tuner" using HP tuners software on a Dynojet dyno.
Either I had an exceptionally good Superchips tune or a very lousy tuner because the improvement was virtually zero. I never dynoed the car before the Superchips tune so I don't know what the stock tune baseline was.
