Try using dielectric silicone grease (available at GM dealers) on the rubber seals.

I just slip a small strip of "business " card into the space above the latch handle as I close it... makes it snug and quiet. Whatever works right?

Default tint

Yah, no love on the tint. I sanded mine after it crazed and the body shop said they could try to shoot it with clear. I did a test spot with some canned clear just to see, and it darkened up and looked ok, but i didnt feel like paying the body shop to test (since i'm trying to save money), so i just had them shoot it black. Looks good.

I unlatched the driver side it was annoying me so much and had the rear and passenger side latched and went away while driving. If it comes back I will give it the business (card that is) haha or the electrical tape.

Thanks for the ideas. I looked at it for adjustments to make it tighter but couldnt find anything on the top or car.

Thanks for the post Screw!! I read the link you sent, however what gap are you widening???

"The shop manual doesn't come anywhere close to this level of detail. For squeaks only, check the gap I've mentioned above, if it is really tight, remove the little cover plate, move the handle toward the back until the hole in the handle under the cover plate allows you to loosen the Torx screw, loosen the other Torx screw just enough so you can widen the gap just a slight amount, and then retighten the Torx screws."

make sure all of the torx are tight and I used a small piece of velcro in place of the business card idea. I used the soft side of the velcro not the rougher side.

Bought the velcro circle strips at a nearby ACE Hardware. And, it did the trick to quiet the tapping latch.

Ok I put some industrial strength velco (smooth side) along latch point on car. Seems to slide smooth and tighter with no squeek. Thanks for the tip!!! I was goin nuts looking for an adjustment to tighten it. Seems as though if the torx are all tight there is nothing else you can do except the die electric grease or velco (oh and the biz card haha) unless I missed something.
