Can anyone tell me what kind of tire this is. is it a runflat, and the quality of it please. also the tire size is 275/35/zr18, i have 18s all around with these tires. i was thinking of buying the Goodyear D3s, and my question was whats the biggest size i can go on my 18s with the D3. i want it to look really beefy. thanks in advance.

Can anyone tell me what kind of tire this is. is it a runflat, and the quality of it please. also the tire size is 272/35/zr18, i have 18s all around with these tires. i was thinking of buying the Goodyear D3s, and my question was whats the biggest size i can go on my 18s with the D3. i want it to look really beefy. thanks in advance.
the tires you have now are not runflat, they are a decent tire. Pretty good for traction, but they wear rather quickly (soft tire). If you want a wider tire, we will need to know the width of the rim.. ie 18x9.5 or 18x10.5???
Nope. But if i had to guess, if they are 275's on back, the width is 9.5. About the widest tire you want to put on is 295. You can fit 305's and even 315's but they bulge out a litte and it is just not wise to put that large of a tire on back of those rims.
The supra's are crap, imo. I had them on a car I had awhile ago. They were gone within a year, and that car wouldn't even chirp tires. Attach those to the back of a Vette, and plan on buying new ones soon.
I don't really have a good suggestion for you, I just had an opinion on those for ya - good luck with whatever you do.
I wouldn't even put ECSTA Supra 712s on my daily driver. That tire sucks big time.
Horrable tire, No grip, Poor wear, Very noisy, Just plain garbage. How ever the excta mx is a good tire for the money. Much better than the supra 712's
The GSD3s are fantastic tires - super sticky dry or wet and last longer than many ultra-high performance tires. As you may know, they topped 10 other tires in Car & Driver's recent tire test. You just can't go wrong with these tires.
i have Kumho Ecsta MX's on my FRC and I hate them. At one point they were sticky, but now they are really dry and slick. They never make any noise and I can't even roll into 1st gear at low rpm without them breaking loose at higher rpms. I autocrossed with them and it felt like I was on ice the entire time. :-(
