Reduced Engine Power??
What the hell could be causing this? When ever I romp on it and the tires dont hook up right away and get a little squirley, I get this display and then when I step on the gas I get nothing....... I have to pull over, turn the car off and wait 10 seconds before I can go again as there is no engine power. WTF???? It just started doing this........

I had this happen to me once after a spin on the track. As I was starting to spin, I nailed the throttle to keep me going toward the center of the turn (and off the harder object at the outside of the corner). I got the car stopped, and then the "reduced engine power" came on. I limped to the pits and turned the car off. When I restarted it, everything was OK. I thought it was an engine temp issue as I was running about 300 oil temp. Maybe it was traction control related as yours sounds to be.
This may not be helpful, but maybe it will assist one of the gurus on the forum to figure it out.

You need to start by finding out what fault codes your getting, follow this link to look at and erase your codes. I'm willing to bet you've got several codes that won't mean anything so erase all codes after you right them down and then drive the car to see if the problem repeats.

sounds crazy but when this happened to mine the battery went dead shortly thereafter.....Low battery voltage makes the C5 start acting real crazy. replaced the battery and everything is good. How old is your battery? Heat soak from high temps will drastically shorten battery life also.
