I installed my LS2 TB today. I started with the motor part on the drivers side, like the LS1 was.... Problem ( as usual) the LS2 wont clear the powersteering pump resevoir. SO i turned it to the passenger side, fits fine. Now my question to everyone is.. the LS1 throttle blade pushed IN at the top. and not the LS2 pushes in at the bottom. Will this make any differences? Anyone wil the 90mm TB chime in.
It sounds normal. The LS2 tb in my 402 stroker is mounted the same way you describe. In fact, if you look under the hood of a C6, the motor is also oriented toward the passenger side.
Well i got it all on and wired, my computer is SOOO confused and is gonna have to stay like that for 9 more days (poor guy) looks good we will see about power next week. Last thing left is the catch can especially after seeing how much oil was in my intake when i pulled it off.

It's a greddy can with my own mount. I use the Metco breather on the pass side valve cover, block both pcv ports on pass cover. Then have the driver side valve cover gromment connected to the catch can with 1/2" hose. The catch can the goes through a factory replacement pcv valve to the fast port.
I didn't want to drill the air duct for the fresh air hose like most do. Plus the Metco breather is so much nicer looking and uncluttered, so to speak. How did you luck out and have Steve for an uncle?
