I at least need to get something I can bend so I can get it to bend away from hitting the header like the other one did.

What about protective heat wraps for the stock wires? What I meant was for performance reasons, the stock wires are good enough.

Shhhhh....

Somone want a set of Magnacors I've never used $50 an they're yours. They add 600 horsepower so you don't need to go to ECS and get a forged motor with a blower.

Seriously if someone wants to buy them they're just sitting on my shelf.

Yeah, one of my buddies has something like this. I need to find out exactly what there called and where to get them. I still need to get some wires though. I think I'll probably stick with the MSD's considering I still got 7 perfectly good ones for spares.

I put MSD 8.5mm wires with the nylon heat wraps after my headers burned through a stock wire. The stock wires made some rf noise that was annoying (could hear it through the stereo) - that is gone with the MSDs. Personally, I'm sure the stock wires are plenty good as well as the LS6 red wires. I would make sure you get the $40 socks though so you don't melt another wire.

Well I bought some more MSD's! Thanks for all the posts, but I don't think wires are that big a deal. I decided to stay with the MSD wires because, I will have 7 spares and they have worked great for me the entire time I've owned the car.............

Again, thanks for the inputs!

I saw a new C6 Z06 on the showroom floor which had some nice red wires with black boots. The thing I didn't like about the MSD's was the gray boots.

So what do you guys recommend?
I just ordered a set of GM Performance wires from Fichtner Chevrolet - saw it here on the forum. Special yearend pricing of $49 plus shipping. For my stock motor they should be fine. I plan on changing the plugs and wires at the same time. Time will tell if they are any good.
