Default I need plug wires........what are you using?

I have 8.5mm MSD spark plug wires, but I melted one and need to get a new set. I don't want to spend a fortune but would like the best performance possible at a reasonable price..........

So what do you guys recommend?

I like the MSD wires. You must have headers.

Yeah, I got LG's! So far the MSD's are recommended! I saw them going for $90 a set in a mag I have. Thats quite a bit for some plug wires............Is there any vendors selling the 8.5 MSD's for a better price?

I'm also thinking about getting some plug covers........

MSD's are the worst wires out there imo. I went through three sets of them with out headers. They look cool, but there are thin inside and are not durable. Go with some GM performance wires, they are cheap and very reliable

Same here (8.5mm #85229), for a year and a half, no problems and they quiet down the idle shake.
Bought from Magnecor at 248-669-6688 or magnecor.com
Good luck.

I'll give them a call and get me some. I have been using them for 2 plus years and they have worked great, and $60 is alot better than the 90 I saw them go for. When I got the car the MSD's were on it...

Thanks,

Jon

I just b ought a set of Magnecor wires from Lingenfelter and got a great deal - best price on the web. Check it out you'll be surprised!

Magnecor also has a lifetime warranty and will sell single wires for accidental melt downs as well.

Really noticed a difference in the idle and feel after the wires were install.

Check out the Magnecor web page. The information is fantastic.

Eh... this is all placebo. The only way you'll get any improvement with an a/m plug wire is if you have defects in the stockers.

BTW I have a set of magnecors that I bought 1.5 years ago and never installed. $50 and they're yours.

That's a good deal - where were you last week. Too late for me now. Some one should buy those.
