Battery discharge
I'd appreciate any guidance on a problem that's driving me crazy. I've got a bone-stock 2000 that has given me problems with the battery discharging after it sits for a few days since it was maybe a year old. The only added accessory is a Valentine One radar detector. At first I was leaving it on, but now I turn it off except when needed. Unless the car is started and run for 10-15 minutes every 3-4 days, it has to be jumped to start. I've had it to the dealer numerous times, even had it hauled in once, and they can't find any kind of drain on it. They finally replaced the battery but it didn't help. Then I paid for another new one this summer, but it's still the same thing. Anyone else experienced this problem? Solution???

My 98 was doing the same thing about a year ago when I bought it. After looking into it, it was a sticking power seat switch - somewhat common problem and easy fix. I also understand that the radio can be a potential power draw. Try pulling fuses one at a time to check -
