Default FRC options and specifications- please help!

hi guys. been a while for me and am looking for another vette soon. Can someone please tell me what the FRC does NOT have?

does it have sport seats like the coupes, or seats like the Z06's?
does it have the same BOSE stereo systems?
is it available with the Z51 option?
does it have the memory options?
and traction control i assume hopefully?
what about dual climate control?
fog lights? screens? or nothing?

so..other than the ls6 obviously, the z06 suspension, and rear brake ducts, how does it differ from a Z06?

am i missing anything?
oh! and what years are they available and how do they differ between years? thanks, love this site!

99 and 00 only. easyest way to tell them apart is wagon wheels and pass key hole on 99 and 2000 thin spokes and only a driver key hole. Standard seats, no power, no teliscopic colum, no fog lights, no rear brake ducts, no power antanna, no ti exhaust, no ls6 block or intake yet thats 01+, thats all I can think of know for things its missing. now the good stuff, All Z51 with 3.42 gear with nm6 6 speed(stronger than nm12 on zo6), no pup cats except 00 ca models (better flow), Tracton control and some with comp mode, Tire pressure monitors (not available on a zo6), Dual climate available (mine has it )Probaly cheaper insurance, oh yea and its $10k lighter on your wallet Thats $10k for mods.

The 99's did not have HUD until very very late in the production year. Hud was available on all the 2000's.

It does have a driver side power seat, but it is not the 6-way.

I love mine.

Were the HUD's only available late year on all 99 models or just later year on the FRC? My Coupe has the HUD.

Good advice on all the other stuff though. I can't think of anything they left out. I dunno if this was covered but the 99's will have "Passive" as an option on the factory keyless entry as the 2000 will not. The 2000 has a fob that's unique to only that year so they are a little more of a pain in the butt to find. But arent as expensive to replace as the 97-99 one. But your biggest clue is to look for a Key hole on the passenger's side door. 2000 wont have one but 99 will.

I'd pick an FRC over a C5 Z06 any day of the week and twice on sunday because of the reasons already stated. Lighter on your wallet both in price and insurence. All the stuff that makes the Z06 better STOCK doesnt justify $10k in price in my opinion.. 10K can buy you a lot more performence if you get the FRC instead

But I like my coupe Wouldnt have it any other way.

6-way power seats had lumbar and side support control which was not offered in FRCs. They also had the 12-disc CD changer option which Z06 could not get. I have installed the sport seats in mine, a full Z06 exhaust (manifolds to Ti-catbacks), LS6 manifold, LS6 airbox and K&N. Love it and my C6 Z51

That's because you have a 2000. HUD was available as an option on all 2000 FRC's.
