Window Problems. Please Help!
Merry X-mas eve everyone! I FINALLY have some free time and decided to spend my holiday trying to fix a few things that have been long overdue in my vette.
I did a search on the forums and found lots of threads about problems with vette windows.. but i think i have a different problem. My driver's side window goes up and down, but sometimes it gets stuck (usually it's the last 3-4 inches before the window is completely down) The window motor is still trying to move it, and if i wiggle the window or give it a gentle pull in the direction i want it to go, it will usually *squeek* through the problem area. I found how to remove the door panel... but in looking at the pictures, it doesn't seem like that gives you much access to the window. Any help you guys could offer would be much appreciated.

It sounds like an alignment problem. If you loosen the adjustment bolts, you should be able to move things around until there is no longer any binding on the window guides.
OR: could something stickey have gotten on the edge of the window (chewing gum?) and gotten dragged down into the window guide track? Did you try a little lighter fluid on the edges of the window, left and right, to see if this helps the situation?

I took the door panel off and played with the adjustment bolts and got the window to go up and down. However, it's still squeeking and i don't really see against what.
