Default 99 Key Fob Help

My fobs cease to work or they make the audible alarm beep everytime I go thru the steps of programming my fob. If they are programmed in the passive mode, the alarm beeps every 3 minutes(regardlees how far the fob is from the car). If they are programmed in the passive off, they work for a day. I just bought this car and I am new to the Corvette forum, so please forgive my ignorance and possibly protocol. Merry Christmas to everyone, JC

JC
Replace the battery in them and reprogram and see if that works.
If not and those are the original remotes you probably will need to
replace them. I would replace one at first and if that solves your problem then you know the second one needs to go also.

PS. Merry Christmas and congrats on your recent purchase.

Are your tire pressure sensors giving you readouts? If so then your receiver is OK as they both operate on the same frequency.
Buying a used one is always risky. Usually what solves the problem 99.9% of the time is a new one.

Mine couldn't hold the program for a more than day. Got a new one and now it seems to be holding.
