Default LQ9 6.0 heads

I'm fixing to put a supercharger from A&A on my 99 frc 24,000 miles. I'm looking to put a set of heads and intake on my car as well. What do you think on the LQ9 6.0 heads? Thanks

I like the 72cc 6L heads for FI cars (lowers the CR). An LS6 intake is fine for your setup.

What do I need to do to the heads? I've never done anything but bolt ons and i'm looking for a nice setup that is streetable. I've got these heads(6.0 LQ9) and LS6 intake in my garage and fixing to order a kit from A&A. What cam if any? Thanks for all input.

You may as well definitely go with a blower cam and the one Andy is using at A&A with huge success has specs of 224/228 .581/.588 114 LSA.

With this cam you will need a good valve spring and titanium retainers on the heads and the don't skimp with the valve springs and best on the marekt on the comp 921 dual springs which do not require any machining with the stock LS9 heads or LS6 heads, etc. Also, the patriot gold duap springs are a great option also for a few less $ and get a dual spring for the added protection of having the second spring keeping the valve from dropping if the first spring breaks, etc.!!!

Might also want to consider ARP studs instead of the stock bolts for the head installation.
