0 psi oil. Ideas.

Im getting an oil pressure sensor tomorow. Besides that and the relief on the oil pump sticking open. What else has anyone heard of on an LS1 causing this?

Its a 99 with 83K. Im not gonna sleep at all tonight.

if the relief valve is hung open,you will have 0 oil pressure.usually with our cars if the switch goes bad,you have a high reading.are you sure the pump itself didn't puke?

i have 0 oil pressure. I dont know thats why i am starting with the sensor and getting ideas for other problems.

is the motor noisey? tapping,knocking,etc.? if the oil pressure switch is disconnected you will have 0.spin off the oil filter,if it's empty,you have a flow problem.
