anything is possible,it's just the issues you would face.off the top of my head-motor mounts,oil pan,engine setback,weight on nose,intake height,driveline issues,etc.
2005 gm performance catalog[they don't offer a crate motor though,only bare parts to build one] is one place or you can contact katech[they build the c5r motor and caddy motors for pratt&miller],ECS,or any of the other vendors that build motors.
Just get a LS2 stroked to 402ci and put a good flowing set of ETP heads on it. It will make gobs more power than a 502 crate motor and bolt right in... A well built 402LS2 will make 625+HP at the motor and 500+rwhp... Here is a good list of Vendors' forged shortblocks...So for under $10K it can be done...A&A corvettes and ECS both have real good reputations...
