The price is decent, is it worth getting? I can't see spending $150 on one of the name brand units.

Yup! Lots of folks are using them. They seem to work just as good as the Vette Tax King AMW!

Where does this oil catch can go and what is the purpose of it ? I am a first time C5 owner and I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the car.
Thanks

I believe it keeps oil from being sucked into the intake manifold (am I close guys?). Apparently it's a fairly important mod to do, I just learned about it myself.

yup it works, just buy new hoses, the ones that come with it suck. I just bought some goodyear hoses and I was all set. Besides, Not enough hose comes for where I installed mine anyway.

I have the AMW and granted it wasnt cheap, that being said it is a nicely machined aluminum piece that looks as though it came from the factory with the car and does a great job of catching the blow by oil.

I just bought and installed that same one about a week ago. Mounted it on the pass. side cylinder head and bought some black hose like DPG did.

I've seen the AMW and it looks like a very high quality peice. The one I got on ebay is very low quality...couple paint flakes and a smudge on the top. It does do the job though.

Bottom line is if ya have an extra $160 burning a hole in your pocket go ahead and get the AMW. If not go the ebay route.
