Default Seized Plugs

Just changed plugs in my o2 coupe with no problems. Decided to help my son change plugs in his 99 LS1 SS Camaro. Tried to remove the 1st plug, can not get it to move. Don't know how much tension to put on ratchet before we will twist out the threads. Does anybody have an idea where to go from this point. Really don't want to see him ruin his LS1 heads. Anybody been thru this???

Yep, first plug change is always a bear on LS1's they use locktite from the factory!
Make sure the engine is cold, and use a long handled ratchet with lots of muscle power.
When you install the new plugs make sure to use anti-seize on them.

Just didn't know how much it would take to get them out. Took them out of the vette with really no problems and used anti-seze on installation. Camaro is a whole different story. Will give it another shot with more leverage.
