Texas speed has a special running right now and I would trust them more than Summit.

Milled AFR 205 heads. 220/224 or LPE GT2-3 cam would foot the bill.

Figure $2,200-2,300 for the heads and $400 for the cam.

who are you going to call at Summit if you have a problem? Get a tuner from here near you.

Forget summit and stick with some local tuners here. TEXAS SPEED and PERFORMANCE is a great place to start on some killer prices!!

HorseHockey. If it is a good kit, ANY TUNER HERE would install it for you. No sense paying the markup.

You guys are so quick to poo poo anyone not using the coveted vendors on this site. I'm not bashing the vendors here. But some of their prices are NOT witihin reason for some of the parts being sold.

Buyer beware and shop. Also talk to the local tuner near you and find out what they recommend. If they won't install the parts you provide, go elsewhere.

Talk to a local speed shop (see if a forum member knows a good one local to you) and see what they have to offer...my speed shop is fantastic when it comes to answering questions...they even get me part numbers so I can shop around for best price...I also like summit's prices and have never bought a bad part from them...just know what you want - they are considerably lower then most others are.

LG Motorsports G5X3 cam, w/ the 921 comp springs, find a set of LS6 heads--->these parts can be had for <$2000 and will put down 425whp, this combo can't be beat N/A for the $$

the ls6 heads can be found for $600/pair complete(take-offs from z06's, CTS-V's, or LS2's)

http://www.lgmotorsports.com/catalog...oducts_id=1399
link to the cam kit, ck out www.lgmracing.com also for some in car world challenge racing vids

Great Budget way to go to get 425rwhp and 500 ponies at the crank, but of course you will need headers, air intake and a good tune!

My thoughts exactly. I'm actually looking for some take off LS6/LS2 heads for that exact reason.
