I will be pulling my motor through the top tomorow. I already have the intake manifold, heads, water pump, alt, etc off or tied out of the way. I will be removing the steering rack. I am still a litle uncertain about what all i need to do to get the torque tube out if the motor now. Any body mind giving me a run down of what is got to go on back there or have some links. I am good witheverything else just never messed with the whole clutch/torque tube assembly befor. Thanks !!
You need to unbolt the torque tube from the bell housing. It's only 5 or six bolts. Then pull the motor forward until it clears the shaft and then up. The clutch/flywheel/bell housing stays connected to the motor. Once the rack is out it is cake.

That's how my brother-in-law and I have done it as well.
