1-2 WOT shift MPH: take your C5 A4 and place the gear selector in "1". Run the car up to 6000 and note the MPH at 6000 RPM. then enter the 1-2 WOT MPH shift @ 2mph below your finding.
2-3 shift MPH: take your C5 A4 and place the gear selector in "2". Run the car up to 6000 and note the MPH at 6000 RPM. then enter the 2-3 WOT MPH shift @ 2mph below your finding.
3-4 shift MPH: if you're brave enough, place your tranny in "3" and...
further tweaking may be necessary.

Mike: Good info. I've been looking for advice like this all over the internet and haven't found CLEAR, PRECISE information like this anywhere. I'd be a little concerned adding 10% shift pressure but then again, based on reading quite a few of your previous posts, it seems like you have played with the Predator settings a lot. I just installed the canned Predator tune last week and haven't started adjusting things yet. I was going to reduce the shift time 8% for a first adjustment (I found that suggestion in several other places) and then start looking at shift rpm's and shift mph's.
Why do you RETARD the timing 3% from the stock Predator tune? If anything, I would think you would want to try to advance the timing more and monitor to see if you are getting KR.
Oh yeah, I bet this thread gets moved!

One final question, I was told by Diablo that many people do turn off torq management, your thoughts.
tt
I do not think you want to turn off TM but maybe increase the threshold level. Without a shift kit, billit servos, etc, if you over abuse the tranny they can get very expensive. I have a friend with an auto trans business and he sees a lot of F-cars, LS1 trucks, and corvettes with blown trans.
Thanks, for the help. I did start with just an install of the performance tune, and wow, what a difference just on it's own. The guys at Diablo say that they do apply some retard of the torq management and I can sure feel it now.
I plan to try adjusting some of the limits on shift points as discribed above, but nothing too crazy. I got this one to cruise but still have some overall great performance.
Torque Managament is not user controlled from the 1999-2002 Predator. On this model - once you load the Performance Tune program - TM is turned off. There's no further TM adjustment available after this.
Which is exactly what I wanted anyways.

if one wants to play... they're gonna hafta pay later.
