On my '00 C5 the FRONT O2 sensors cross over eachother and plug into opposite sides (pass side plugs into driver's side, driver's side plugs into pass side). The car runs awesome so I know it is correct - I've heard the kinds or problems people encounter when they get the front O2's mixed up.

here is a test,swap the front o2 sensors side to side,if the right bank[bank 2] now shows the lean fault you know you have a bad o2.

Think I'm actually getting pretty good at plugs now. Buttoned her all up wiith the original plugs and wires. Switched the O2 sensors (not the wires) and wadaya know? She's purring out there in the garage right now.
