I’ve got a diff out to replace the side cover O rings and half shaft seals. There’s not much to the O ring replacement but the side seals won’t stay in completely flush. I press them in, and they creep back out a little bit.
FRCs passenger’s side half seal has started leaking….the seal has crept out a 1/16th just like the spare diff I’m having trouble with. The dff in the car has never been apart.
Is there something I’m missing here, it’s a straight forward seal install….right? I'm following the instructions in the manual....
