That would be the AIR Injection System.. aka.. Smog Pump. It's an electric pump on C5's. It's an emissions related code and won't effect drivability/performance. Since, it's referring to bank 2 (passenger side), it could be a restricted/sticking check valve on that side. Check valves are located on the exhaust manifolds at the top. It's a black round metal part where the AIR hose goes into. It's a cheap part to replace, and is most likley the culprit.

Here's a reference picture, but it's showing the driver's side.Very similar looking on the passenger side. http://www.ls1howto.com/howto/c5/lgh...cs/airtube.jpg It's the black round piece that the AIR tube connects to and the hose connects to on the other side.

take care

You might want to consult a dealer first.
Many of the emmisions control components are covered under a differnt clause - 3/36 does not appy.

I think the EC warranty is 84mo, 80k mile, so you may not have to pay for a new component.

Mine goes in next week for a P0430 low catalyst bank 2 code.

I have the same code but have been procrastinating the install because I was told that the passenger side chack valve was behind the intake manifold. In other words, the intake would have to be removed, the part would be installed, and then the manifold reinstalled with new gaskets and whatnot.
