Make sure you think about what you want. Do you want to clutter up the pillar with three gauges? Only two? I was in this boat a few weeks ago. I spent $465 on an a-pillar, a boost gauge, and a fuel pressure gauge. I then decided I wanted a wideband gauge and couldn't find the three gauge pillar, even though I really didn't want three on the pillar. (I've found it since then).

In any event, I then purchased the XD-1/LC-1 wideband kit and a SPA dual fuel/boost gauge and am returning the others tomorrow if I get time. The gauges I really wanted at first but didn't want to spend the money.

I really only want two gauges: fuel pressure and boost pressure. I was thinking of the autometer cobalts.

Here's mine. Everyone says to put the dual pillar over the existing one but I removed the stock pillar and only mounted the Autometer one. The whole thing is mounted using one screw at the top which is meant for the weatherstripping. Very simple and reversible and it works well. I like how my gauges match my dash gauges, silver bezels, orange needles, white numbers and black facesl. I need to find some blacklight bulbs for them so they match at night.

I did the exact same thing you have there- order a couple LED replacement 194 bulbs for the gauges. They have some at www.superbrightleds.com that are "inverted" or something along those lines that reflect backwards like a normal bulb. I haven't had the chance to put them in, but I tried 'em another friend's car, and they looked like the white leds I ordered are going to be a pretty good match.

I had my Cobalts bezels changed to black by Autometer. It less obvious to passers-by and it matches the stock dash better.

I've been trying out different bulbs in my gauges and haven't had any light up as efficiently as the standard ones, though I dislike their yellow-orangeish glow. Have to admit that I haven't tried the Inverted bulbs yet. Seems counter intuitive, but I'll try them tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.

That looks really good! What brand/series gauges are those?

Anyone have any photos of a triple gauge pillar pod in a C5?

Thanks! They are Autometers. The fuel pressure gauge is a sport comp. The boost gauge is a Z-Series but the only difference between the two series' is the bezel color. I painted the bezel of the boost gauge silver to match the fuel pressure.
