Relocated battery/switch problem
The problem is I loose conductivity for the alternator. The two small contact studs loose contact. I thought I burned up the first switch and bought another.......then it happened again! I broke open the origanal switch to find nothing wrong with the contacts! Why is this happening? I wrote to Rick Moroso.....no reply. I called and spoke to a Tech rep at Moroso....he said the Alt. contacts cannot handle more than 20 amps. and to use a relay from Painless! That's BS
Can any of you guys that run this type of setup give me a clue? Maybe another switch you use? I am sure it is wired correctly, wire size is more than adequate. I don't want to have a tech problem at the Nationals.
