Anyone have tips how to get the leftover sticky stuff off after you pull the weights off? This stuff takes forever and I don't want to shave off my finish with a razor blade.
Simple! WD-40, spray it on, let it soak for 10 minutes or so, come back out, it turns the glue into mush, pretty much comes right off with a towel. May take 2 times to get it ALL off..

Lighter fluid (Naptha) works great, it will dissolve the adhesive quickly. You just have to be careful when using it around plastics as it can soften some of them.
