Default Need help in Seattle desperatly !!!!!!

I'm flying from Fort Lauderdale to Seattle to finalize my deal from
ebay #4602370418 I will gladly pay for one of you pros to give my new Z a look and maybe even meet at the shop that did the work and give it a run on the dyno.I've been trying for 18 years to get my first vette and would greatly appreciate anybody knowing anyone in the Seattle area with experience enough for what I'm looking for to please give them a heads up on my situation.I'll be there Wednsday and Thursday this week.

Hello.

I would think having the shop perform a compression test, leakdown test and dyno with Air/fuel logging for you along with a complete going over by a non-involved mechanic would serve you well before you finalize the purchase.

As for mechanics there is Ellis of Speed Secrets up north in the Monroe area. You can find him over at LS1Tech.com in the Northwest section. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=66

There is also Brad's Custom Auto in the North Seattle area that use to have a Corvette Mechanic. Brads Custom Auto, (206) 367-1471, 12719 28th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125

There is also Corvette's of Auburn which is south of Seattle: http://www.corvettesofauburn.com/

Good luck with your purchase and make sure it's all right before finalizing the purchase.

Hope this helps.

Phillips Automotive Incorporated
11336 120TH Ave NE Ste 124
Kirkland, WA 98033-4530
(425) 828-4734

They do a lot of Corvette repair and restoration work. I do not know if he has a dyno. I have not been there in several years but he did a good job when I was there.
