Default Z06 Exhaust

I have a chance to buy a complete 2002 Z06 stock titanium exhaust with about 13000 miles on them. They would be going on my 01 vert.
1) How much are they worth or how much should I offer?
2) Is it an easy swap?

GO BRONCOS!

Take a look in the parts for sale forum. You can ususally find them for $400-$450. Make sure they have not been cut for removal. You will need to jack the back of your car about 3 feet in the air to remove the old and install the new or you can take it to a muffler shop and have them do it. It's only 4 bolts.

But its 8 bolts; 4 for the exhaust pipes and 4 more for the hangers.

You should never need to unbolt the hanger bolts. There is a toung on the muffler that slips into the rubber mount. You should only need to remove the four flange fasteners. $400- $450 is the going price. If you can get them less,,, go for it! You wont be disappoianted!! EXCELLENT upgrade!!

I got mine locally for $375, if the seller would take $400 you'll be very happy you did! About half the weight, have a nice burnished tint to them, and have a really nice sound. They're only slightly louder than stock, so keeping the wife and neighbors happy is no problem.

Plus, they're good for a bump of up to 50 hp!

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

The weight savings is definitely there and here's something else to think about:

Some folks who have switched to one of the louder catbacks and then added long tubes and head/cam mods thought their car got too loud (not all folks, but some... ).

Just something to think about and another reason for a mod plan!
