Suggestios for jack with Slammed C5
Any one got any suggestions for a jack ?I have completely removed the isolator bushing from the frt. ctrl. arm and leaf spring. Any body seen a trick jack that is extremely low to the ground.

Check the clearance between the rocker panel bottoms and the ground. My 00 coupe is slammed and the 3.5" min Harbour Freight jack wont clear. Solution is to get 2 x 6 boards and use to run up on then the jack clears. There is a Mercedes jack some have bought that is a different type and clears very low heights. Do a search and maybe you can find the thread.

I drive my car up onto paving stones first, although a board is probably better since you can cut the edge on an angle to save on the clutch wear.

That is what I do. get some 1"x12" x24" boards. Drive the front wheels up on to the boards then you have enough clearance to jack the car up.

I'm with the rest of you. I park on some planks and then use the jack.
