C5 + positive battery lead replace

C5 + positive battery lead replace
Has anybody replaced the + positive battery wire? It splits two ways, one to the fuse box next to the battery and the other goes straight down and it seems you would have to open up the front wheel well to get to the other connection point. Any help or thoughts are appreciated.

The other wire runs directly to the starter.
You will need to drop the H-pipe from the exhaust manifolds to access the starter terminal. If you have LT headers, you'll probably need to remove the pass. side header to get at it.
